<image:caption>Is a Medicare rebate available? A rebate of $145.25 is available for up to 10 sessions per year, with a referral and mental health care plan from your GP. What will happen in the first appointment? You will first be provided with some information about the service, and asked to fill in a form with some of your details. During the appointment, you will be asked questions to gain an understanding of your current experience and what you would like to achieve in these sessions. What if I'm unsure what I need help with, can I still come for an appointment? This is often the way people feel when contemplating seeing a psychologist. Part of the psychology process involves exploring your situation to find out what isn't working for you, or what you would like to change. Together with your psychologist you can establish goals for what you would like to achieve in the sessions.</image:caption>
